The Flash 2’s script has already been finished! That’s right. The Flash movie isn’t even out yet, and they’ve already finished the movie’s sequel script, which is a bit mad in my eyes, and I’ll explain why in a second. However, I do have to mention where this news came from. It was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter in a big exclusive article they published all about what’s happening over at DC Films, and it seems like a lot has been going on behind the scenes.
It was revealed that The Batman 2 has been given the official green light and that Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson have both signed on to the project. The article also revealed that a new Henry Cavill Superman movie was in the works. They then announced that Reeves was also planning Batman spinoff movies which would focus on the DC Comics superhero’s villains, which sounds like a terrific idea to me. It then went ahead and revealed that Aquaman writer, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, has already penned The Flash 2’s script.

So, here’s what The Hollywood Reporter had to say about The Flash 2’s script already being completed and why Warner Bros. Discovery decided to get working on the sequel’s script as soon as possible:
A script for Wonder Woman 3 by Patty Jenkins is expected imminently and a script for a Flash sequel is already written — by Aquaman scribe David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick — in case that movie, to be released June 23, 2023, does well.
So, it seems as though executives over at Warner Bros Discovery think that the upcoming Flash movie is going to perform very well. The movie is undergoing some reshoots, which Miller did take part in. The actor has been embroiled in a bunch of controversies, and there have even been reports that they could end up facing prison time if they’re found guilty in court. So, that would throw a spanner into the works for Warner Bros.
