The Batman TV Spinoff Gotham PD From Matt Reeves Is Coming To HBO Max

It’s been revealed that a The Batman TV spinoff is coming to HBO Max and it’ll be from Matt Reeves and will be set in Gotham PD.

Honestly, I have no idea how Matt Reeves has any more time to be doing anything else.

However, it’s now been revealed that he’s also been working on a The Batman TV spinoff whilst writing and directing The Batman movie.

The Batman film will star Robert Pattinson as The Dark Knight and the likes of Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.

However, this TV spinoff will be all set in the Gotham Police Department and will be coming to HBO Max.

This upcoming spinoff series will be produced and overseen by Reeves and Terrence Winter (Boardwalk Empire).

It will reportedly be, “set in the world Reeves is creating for the feature film The Batman, with the intent being to launch a new Batman universe across multiple platforms. It is said to build on the film’s examination of the anatomy of corruption in Gotham City.”

It’s really exciting that Warner Bros. is letting Reeves do this.

To me, this says that they are very confident in him and the movie he’s making.

I also wonder how much of this movie will be based on the incredible Gotham PD comic books.

I hope this upcoming Batman spinoff series is at least ‘inspired’ by them.
