Taron Egerton’s latest pictures have got some fans rather excited, and it all has to do with the rumours that he might be playing Wolverine in the MCU.

Egerton has been linked to the Wolverine role for years.

Recently, Matthew Vaughn said that the British actor should get to play the role in a recent interview.

So, then comes in Egerton’s recent Instagram story.

If you’re to look at Taron’s latest posts on his stories, you’ll notice that the actor is in incredibly good shape right now.

The actor can be seen in just a towel, and the whole thing was to wish director, Dexter Fletcher a happy birthday.

They both became very close after working together on Rocketman in which Egerton played Sir Elton John.

The thing is, Egerton’s been spending most his time recently doing voice over work, having voiced characters in Sing 2 and Come Home.

According to Variety Taron Egerton is going to be seen next in a new TV show called In With The Devil.

He’s also going to be in the Tetris movie, which is scheduled to be released in 2022 (supposedly).

Then there are the rumours that Egerton is going to be playing Seymour Krelborn in a remake of Little Shop of Horrors.

However, fans are just desperate to see Egerton as Wolverine.

As I mentioned above, Matthew Vaughn – who directed Egerton in Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle – revealed in an interview with ComicBook that the British actor could play Wolverine “in his sleep”.
