Robert Downey Jr Reportedly In Talks For Another Christopher Nolan Movie

It’s being reported that Robert Downey Jr is in talks to for star in another Christopher Nolan movie, which would be interesting.

This news comes to us from Giant Freakin Robot.

It was revealed not too long ago that Downey Jr is going to be in Nolan’s next movie, Oppenheimer.

Downey Jr will be playing Lewis Strauss in the movie.

He’ll be joined by the likes of Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Matt Damon as Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, Emily Blunt as Katherine Oppenheimer and Benny Safdie as Edward Teller.

The Oppenheimer Nolan movie is also going to star Rami Malek and Josh Hartnett in undisclosed roles.

It’ll be interesting to see which movie Nolan is planning on doing next.

This Oppenheimer movie is going to be made by Universal Pictures, which will also be the first big budget film that Nolan will make that’s not a Warner Bros Pictures film.

It seems as though Christopher Nolan won’t be making any more movies for Warner Bros Pictures after their recent falling out.

Nolan did not like Warners’ decision to release all 2021 movies directly to HBO Max day and date.

It was a pretty big deal for filmmakers such as Nolan and Denis Villeneuve and they made their feelings on Warners’ decision very clear.

To cut a long story short, they weren’t happy.

Nolan decided to part ways with Warner Bros Pictures.

Villeneuve, on the other hand, didn’t. He’s making Dune Part 2 with Warners right now.
