Stranger Things Season 4 is one of the most anticipated Netflix shows to be coming out in 2021, and people are desperate to know when the fourth season will be released. I’ve been doing quite a bit of digging into when Netflix will release Stanger Things Season 4, and I think I’ve found you a pretty definite response.
So, let’s just get this potential release date for Stranger Things Season 4 out of the way. It seems that it’ll be with us on August 21st, 2021, which isn’t really that far away. This comes to us from Netflix Updates on Twitter.
We reported on this last week, and I can now confirm that this is pretty close to the actual release date, as I asked my sources to confirm whether this was when we would see the new season land on the streaming service.

Here’s what my source with reported close ties to Netflix had to say on the rumoured release date:
I can’t confirm whether August 21st is the release date, but what I can confirm is that season four will be coming out in that month.
So, that tells me that this is basically spot-on as far as Stranger Things Season 4’s release date is concerned. I think that sounds like a good date to release it, because each season of the show has been released in different seasons.
August 21st is the start of fall, and the other seasons have been released in the summer and the beginning of winter. We haven’t seen a season get a fall release date yet, so it makes sense to have Season 4 be released at the beginning of the fall.

So, what will happen in Season 4. Well, your guess is as good as mine as far as that’s concerned. We already know that David Harbour’s Jim Hopper is still alive. The Buyers have moved away from Hawkins. That said, I’m pretty sure something will force them to return to the town.
It’s going to be very interesting to see what will happen in Season 4 of Stranger Things. I’m thinking that the Russians will be involved yet again. This theory is bolstered by the fact that the trailer showed that Hopper is in Russia.
He’ll have to escape somehow, and I really hope he does. As for the rest of the Stranger Things gang, they all kind of went their own ways at the end of Season 3. However, I do believe they’ll all end up coming back together at least towards the end of the season.

I’m actually wondering whether Jim Hopper will be the main character in Season 4. I think a lot of the season will be focused on him and how he gets out of the prison he’s in. He might end up having to go through the Upside Down to escape, which would be interesting.
The other thing I’m desperate to see, is him and Joyce Buyers back together again. I love their relationship and just really want the two of them to be together. They kind of belong together. Let me know what you make of my rather soppy wish for Season 4.
