It’s now been revealed by one of the stars of Stranger Things that Season 4’s release date on Netflix may have been pushed to 2022.
Originally, it was suggested that Stranger Things Season 4’s release date would be in August 2021, so this year.
However, it sounds as though the pandemic has resulted in delays to the fourth season’s release date.
The star in question is actor Finn Wolfhard who suggested recently that the upcoming season won’t be out until 2022.
Finn revealed this during a recent interview on Fanmio which is a site that gives fans the opportunity to talk to their favourite stars directly.
The Stranger Things star was asked when Season 4 of the popular Netflix show would be released and here’s what he had to say:
Season 4? It should be out some time next year hopefully. Yeah, but it’s been really fun.

It was originally thought that the show could be coming out this year.
The last season of Stranger Things came out back in 2019, so it’s been a while now that we haven’t had any new episodes of the show.
This is the first time in the show’s history that it’s taken a two year break.
However, the show was plagued by delays thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
They originally started shooting a while back in 2020, but they had to stop for a few months due to the pandemic.
This has therefore put a rather lengthy delay on Season 4’s release date.
But, the good news is that it’s coming, and hopefully, it’ll be out sooner rather than later.
So, maybe look at a January/February 2022 release date for Stranger Things Season 4.
