Spider-Man 4 is coming, and we’re hearing that the movie is going to feature Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, which makes a lot of sense to me. This report comes to us via Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity and also The Cosmic Circus. According to both outlets, Charlie Cox will be making an appearance in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, which will be the fourth movie that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures would have made together.
The reason why I say this comes from both Geekosity and The Cosmic Circus is due to the fact that back in December 2020, Mikey actually said that Daredevil and Spider-Man would be teaming up in a future MCU movie. It seems as though this movie is going to be the fourth Spider-Man film. So, it seems as though Marvel and Sony are planning to make another Spider-Man trilogy which will be known as the ‘college trilogy’.
Spider-Man 4 will see Charlie Cox star as Daredevil

Here’s what Mikey had to say about Charlie Cox’s Daredevil being in the fourth Spidey picture:
According to inside sources, there have been discussions of Spider-Man teaming up with Daredevil on the big screen. And the reason for their collaboration is because Spider-Man has a problem. A big problem. Actually, a big problem. As Peter Parker attends college (which will provide an idea of how long before this will transpire), his Spider-Man crime-fighting days are met with huge punches in the face. From the Kingpin.
This was backed up two years later by The Cosmic Circus, who had heard that the fourth Spider-Man movie would feature Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. In his report, Alex Perez, explains the following:
This street-level story, we’re being told, may actually handle the aftermath of Daredevil: Born Again. How the Disney+ show will play a role in the upcoming film, remains to be seen.
What might happen in this movie?
So, it seems as though this upcoming Spidey movie will pick up after the events of Daredevil: Born Again. This is the Disney Plus series that was announced by Kevin Feige at San Deigo Comic-Con earlier this year. it seems as though a lot is going to happen in this series. The series will be 18 episodes long, making it the longest Marvel series yet. It’s also been revealed that the series is going to see Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. This makes me wonder whether Kingpin will also end up being the main villain in this upcoming Spidey movie.
It would make so much sense for Peter Parker to go up against Kingpin finally. Spider-Man and Kingpin have something of a legendary rivalry in the Marvel Comics, and it would be wonderful to see that replicated in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also, given the fact that Peter is going to be in his college years, that could open the doors to other cool villains, such as Doctor Octopus, Lizard, Norman Osborn and J. Jonah Jameson (OK, I know he’s not a villain, but he’s pretty mean, especially to Peter).
