spider-man-3 official title revealed

It’s official guys! Spider-Man 3 will be called Spider-Man: No Way Home. This was revealed by Tom Holland in a recent video the British actor posted on Instagram. This comes after we were all trolled by Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya after they posted fake names for the movie on their Instagram accounts.

So, what happened? Well, all three Spider-Man 3 actors: Holland, Batalon and Zendaya, all took to their Instagram accounts to reveal one picture from the movie and the film’s official title. The problem is that all ‘official titles’ were different. Tom Holland shared a cool logo for the movie, and it was called Spider-Man: Phone Home. Jacob Batalon claimed that the movie’s called Spider-Man: Home-Wrecker, and then Zendaya revealed that the film was going to be called Spider-Man: Home Slice.

The very first thing I can tell you is that I like this title a lot more than the ones that were ‘leaked’ beforehand. Spider-Man: No Way Home also seems to suggest once and for all that this film is going to feature the Multiverse in a pretty big way. It almost seems as though the film will see Peter Parker get lost in the Multiverse and will need the help of Doctor Strange and other Marvel characters to get back home.

This marks the third film in the Marvel/Sony Pictures Spider-Man franchise. They could be dubbed as the ‘Home Trilogy’. There were a bunch of names making the rounds on the Internet before this title was officially revealed. I’ve seen people offer up Spider-Man: Homeworlds, Spider-Man: Home Run and even Spider-Man: Homeward Bound.

“The biggest clue is the title of the second Doctor Strange movie. That’s the biggest clue of where the Multiverse of Madness is taking us and how we’re exploring that,” Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige told ComicBook.com in January. “It’s surreal to me that we’re talking about a Spider-Man 3. I worked on a movie called Spider-Man 3 many years ago directed by Mr. Sam Raimi. So this clearly, the shorthand of calling it Spider-Man 3 now, it’s fine. We call it Homecoming 3.”
