It seems as though fans of DC Comics’ The Batman and The Umbrella Academy really want to see Aidan Gallagher play Robin in The Batman 2!
This has been something that’s been on the Internet for quite some time.
We’ve already written about how Aidan Gallagher would be an excellent choice for Robin in a Batman movie.
That article actually written before Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman movie was released in cinemas.
After having seen the film, I’m not sure whether a Robin would really fit into this universe.
However, if Matt Reeves and Warner Bros. Pictures were looking for an actor to play Robin, I think Gallagher would be one of the best choices around.

The image is actually Gallagher as Damian Wayne and it would definitely be hard to have that version of the hero in Robert Pattinson’s Batman films.
Damian in the comics is Bruce Wayne’s son, and I’m pretty sure that Pattinson’s version of the character is too young to have a son old enough to be Robin.
I think Jason Todd or Dick Grayson would make much more sense in a The Batman 2.
That said, I highly doubt that we’ll ever see a Robin in these Batman films.
It’s a shame because we haven’t really seen Robin in a Batman flick since Batman & Robin in which the character was played by Chris O’Donnell.
I think it’s time to bring the character back to the big screen and Aidan Gallagher should be the actor to play the role.
