R-Rated Star Trek Films Rumoured To Be In The Works At Paramount Pictures

It’s being rumoured that R-rated Star Trek films could be in the works over at Paramount Pictures. This rumour comes from serial scoopster, Daniel Richtman over on his Patreon page.

What’s going on with the upcoming Star Trek movies? It was revealed a while ago that Noah Hawley was working on one, however, it seems as though that project is now DOA, which is such a shame. Hawley revealed a few weeks back that it’s been put on hold by Paramount Pictures, which is never a good sign.

There were also reports that Quentin Tarantino had written an incredible script for a Star Trek movie, and J.J. Abrams apparently loved it. We also heard that Tarantino’s Star Trek movie had been put into production. However, there’s been radio silence on that movie ever since.

We’re now hearing rumours that Paramount Pictures is considering making R-rated Star Trek films, which I don’t think would be a terrible idea. This does make me wonder whether Tarantino’s Star Trek picture is still happening.

I really do hope it does. Who doesn’t want to see a Star Trek movie written and possibly even directed by Quentin Tarantino. Wouldn’t it be great if he made his Star Trek movie his last ever film? Personally, I would love that. But, we’re going to have to wait and see what happens.
