Paul Bettany got into some trouble recently with Marvel fans, but it sounds like his White Vision will be returning in the MCU, which I think is a good thing.
He revealed this during a recent interview with The Playlist.
During the interview, Bettany spoke about how he’d had conversations with Kevin Feige for years about potentially introducing White Vision.
He added that he had a sneaky feeling White Vision would be making his first appearance after Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War.
Bettany did explain that he never thought that Vision would return after that movie, and he still doesn’t think he’d really come back as the actual Vision.
“No. I mean, I’m honest with you. I still don’t know that,” Bettany told The Playlist.
Paul Bettany will be back as White Vision in the MCU
Here’s what Paul had to say on his possible return to the MCU as White Vision:
Oh no, no. I don’t have a contract. I don’t know that. I don’t know that at all. And all that I do know is, as far as this sort of traunch of press goes, it’s for an Emmy push, which is for a limited series. So it doesn’t look like that happening again. I mean, I guess it would be difficult to introduce White Vision and not deal with him in some way, but we have not discussed that.
As far as I’m concerned, I’m pretty sure White Vision will return in some shape or form.
You can’t introduce him, have him leave at the end of a show never to return again.
It just doesn’t make any sense.
