Taika Waititi In Trouble With Disney And Marvel

It’s being reported that Thor: Love And Thunder’s director, Taika Waititi is currently in trouble with Marvel and Disney.

Why, you ask? Well, it seems as though Disney and Marvel didn’t think much of the recent pics of the director with Tessa Thompson and Rita Ora.

This report comes to us from The Daily Telegraph.

Waititi was pictured canoodling with both his girlfriend, Rita Ora and his Thor: Love And Thunder actor, Tess Thompson.

The pictures caused quite a stir on social media and it seems as though Disney and Marvel are not happy with the whole ordeal.

It did seem as though the majority of people on social media just thought the whole thing was rather funny.

However, higher-ups at Disney were reportedly not happy at all with the New Zealand director.

It’s not a very professional look and according to The Daily Telegraph, they have reprimanded the director for his actions.

What does that mean? Well, it sounds like they might have fined him.

It’s said that execs at Disney were always aware of the New Zealand native’s reputation as a “party animal” but they feel this situation “cross[es] a line.”

Could this mean that Disney and Marvel won’t work with Taika anymore?

No, it doesn’t, and I’m pretty sure they will work with the director again.

He’s one of the best directors working in Hollywood today and they won’t want to lose him.
