Patrick Stewart has not only revealed that he will be in Doctor Strange 2, but he’s also compared his return in the movie as Superman’s in the movies.

It was revealed in the recent Doctor Strange 2 trailer that Sir Patrick Stewart would be returning as a version of Professor X.

This sent fans wild, and for good reason.

It’s such a thrill to hear Stewart’s iconic voice again in a Marvel movie.

It seems like he’s going to be playing a Professor X who’s part of the Illuminati.

Here’s what Sir Patrick Stewart had to say about his upcoming return as Professor X in Doctor Strange 2 during an interview with Rolling Stone:

This is a very delicate area. All I can say to you is we’ll have to see. But bear in mind that Professor Xavier has already died twice. I think he must have some sort of Superman quality.

Stewart’s not wrong. His Charles Xavier has died quite a few times in the X-Men movies.

His first death was in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand.

In that movie he was killed by Jean Grey.

The character then died again at the hands of the brainwashed Wolverine clone in Logan.

That was a pretty impactful death, especially since it was a man who looked like Wolverine killing Charles Xavier.

However, it seems as though there are still a number of Charles Xavier variants out there.
