Nicolas Cage Is Rumoured To Be In Talks To Join The MCU

It’s being rumoured that Nicolas Cage is currently in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the role he’s up for might be Ghost Rider.

A few days ago, it was being rumoured that Nicolas Cage was being considered for the role of Ghost Rider in the MCU.

The story was that Marvel was thinking of casting him in the iconic Marvel Comics role.

This is, of course, a role he’s played twice before, so he’s pretty familiar with the character.

However, we’re now hearing from Giant Freaking Robot that Cage is now in talks with Marvel for the role.

This is something that personally, I would love to see.

However, there is the issue of Agents Of SHIELD and the fact that that show already had Ghost Rider in it.

Nicolas Cage is reportedly talking to Marvel Studios about joining the MCU

This rumour was then backed up by Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton, who’s claiming that Cage will be acting as a mentor to a younger version of the character in the Marvel movies.

Sutton also added that this younger version of Ghost Rider could be a woman, which would be an interesting way to go.

This could work and I would love to see this on the big screen.

Nicolas Cage can be a brilliant actor – I really mean that.

If he’s directed properly, he can be great.

Just watch his performance in movies like Leaving Las Vegas, Raising Arizona, Adaptation, Joe, Mandy, Kick-Ass and even the National Treasure movies.

He was able to judge those performances perfectly, and I do believe he would an asset to the MCU.

But, the question is, what do you make of this rumour?

Would you like to see Nicolas Cage join the MCU in the future?

And, do you believe he would make a good Ghost Rider, or is there another role you think he would suit better?
