It’s being rumoured that Marvel Studios is interested in getting Nicolas Cage to return to the role of Ghost Rider in the MCU.

There have been so many rumours regarding who might play Ghost Rider in the MCU?

One of the actors connected to the role has been Johnny Depp.

Another actor often rumoured to be in talks for the role is John Wick actor Keanu Reeves.

However, Rober Wardell on Twitter is now claiming that Marvel Studios wants Nicolas Cage to play the role again.

What!? That sounds like utter madness.

Well, if there’s one person in Hollywood who can encapsulate madness, it’s Cage.

Also, stranger things have happened in 2020, so you know what, I’m going to believe anything now.

Marvel Studios apparently wants Nicolas Cage to play Ghost Rider again

Here’s what Wardell said about Nicolas Cage potentially returning as Johny Blaze in the MCU:

Nicolas Cage was approached by Marvel to reprise his role as Johny Blaze in the MCU. It’s also worth to mention here that “Guardian’s Inferno” song from GOTG Vol. 2 contained a reference for a character called The Orb – mercenary and a member of Ghost Rider Assassination League.

This sounds like pure speculation to me.

Even though we’ve seen really crazy stuff happening in 2020, I do not believe for one second that Marvel Studios has ever considered bringing Cage back to play Ghost Rider.

I’m not even sure whether Ghost Rider will ever come to the MCU.

What do you make of this rumour?

Would you like to see Nicolas Cage play Ghost Rider again?
