The New Mutants And Mulan Release Dates Pushed Back Due To Coronavirus

This is getting pretty serious as The New Mutants and Mulan’s release dates have also been pushed back due to Coronavirus fears.

Disney decided to delay the release of these to movies and another one called Antlers after the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mulan was due out on March 27th, The New Mutants on April 3rd and Antlers on April 17th.

The news came courtesy of Deadline who reported that no new release dates were announced.

These movies follow the likes of No Time To Die, Peter Rabbit 2, A Quiet Place Part 2 and Fast And Furious 9 who’s release dates were all pushed back.

The Coronavirus (a.k.a. COVID-19) has caused havoc and that’s now being felt by the world of entertainment.

This isn’t just movies, but sporting events too. It’s going to be a difficult few months for movie studios and cinemas.

Cinemas have been empty due to the fears of being infected by the virus.

Normally, during times of great public unrest, one of the things you could do was go to the cinema to watch a movie and forget about everything else.

Well, we can’t do that anymore until this pandemic has been effectively tackled and stopped.

As for The New Mutants, it looks like this film just can’t catch a break.

It’s already been delayed multiple times and it’s starting to look like the universe just doesn’t want this movie to come out.

It was hit by Disney’s takeover of 20th Century Fox and then Disney finally decided to release the movie.

One thing they could do is just release it on Disney Plus which is coming out here in the UK in just a few days time.

The new streaming service will be available from March 24th and the timing couldn’t be better.

What we all need right now is to watch good Disney movies whilst self-isolating or self-quarantining… or whatever they’re calling it now.

What do you make if this news?
