A Quiet Place Part 2’s Release Date Pushed Back After Coronavirus Pandemic

It’s been revealed by John Krasinski that he’s going to be pushing back A Quiet Place Part 2’s release date following the Coronavirus outbreak.

This has now become the third Hollywood blockbuster to be delayed due to the virus outbreak.

It was revealed last week that No Time To Die and Peter Rabbit 2’s release dates were being pushed back due to the pandemic.

It’s all rather scary and would have been unthinkable a few weeks ago.

A Quiet Place Part 2’s writer and director, John Krasinski took to Twitter earlier today to reveal his film’s release date was being pushed back.

It was originally supposed to be released on March 19th here in the UK, but it looks like that won’t happen anymore.

Here’s what Krasinski wrote on his Twitter post:

To all our A Quiet Place fans, One of the things I’m most proud of is that people have said our movie is one that you have to see all together. Well due to the ever-changing circumstances of what’s going on in the world around us, now is clearly not the time to do that. As insanely excited as we are for all of you to see the movie… I’m gonna wait to release the film til we CAN all see it together! So here’s to our group movie date! See you soon!

He didn’t reveal the film’s new release date.

He and Paramount Pictures might be waiting until the virus has stopped spreading to reveal the new release date.
