Charlie-Cox-To-Play-Daredevil-In-Multiple-MCU-Projects

It’s official! Marvel Studios is making a new Daredevil series which is going to be made for Disney Plus and we cannot wait to see it!

This was confirmed in a report from Variety.

Their report also confirmed that Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write and executive produce the new Daredevil series for Disney Plus.

The report didn’t confirm whether Charlie Cox was going to be returning as Matt Murdock in the series.

However, we were told quite some time ago that Cox would be returning.

This was also basically confirmed thanks to Cox’s cameo as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Another possible returning star could be Vincent D’Onofrio whom we recently saw return as the Kingpin in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye series.

Corman and Ord most co-created the USA Network series Cover Affairs which starred Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham.

The show lasted for five seasons between 2010 and 2014.

Their more recent credits include NBC’s The Enemy Within, The Brave and The CW series, Containment.

Fans have been desperate to see Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock – aka Daredevil – in the MCU ever since the Netflix show came to an end.

Interestingly enough, voice actor, writer and producer, David Hayter had already revealed that a Daredevil reboot was in the works.

He revealed this during a roundtable interview in which Small Screen was present.

David Hayter was asked which Marvel character he would like to adapt for a Marvel Studios project.

This is what the writer/actor/producer had to say:

You know, they’re doing a reboot of Daredevil and Daredevil was always a very important character to me, and I loved the, I loved the first way they did it. But there’s certain things that I, you know that I want to adapt from the Frank Miller run on Daredevil that really meant a lot to me. Um, I yeah, I I mean, that’s that’s really the one.

There’s no word yet on when this new Daredevil reboot series will land on Disney Plus.
