Morbius Early Screening Buzz From Critics Is Very Negative

It seems as though critics who’ve seen early screenings of Jared Leto’s Morbius movie early have not been impressed by the new Sony Pictures Marvel movie.

It’s being reported that critics who’ve seen the movie early for press junkets thought the movie was boring and “uncalculated”.

This report comes from Brandon Matthews on Twitter who’s claiming that he’s spoken to a number of these journalists personally.

Here’s what Matthews had to say on the early reactions of Jared Leto’s Morbius film:

Heard from several journalists who’ve seen the film already (junket purposes) that it’s boring and uncalculated. No consistency, except that it’s bad. Good moment here and there, and 2-3 easter eggs, but otherwise, just watch it when it gets home.

Morbius is going to be the third film from Sony’s Spider-Man cinematic universe.

It all started with Venom which introduced us to Tom Hardy’s take on Eddie Brock and Venom.

We then got Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

That film wasn’t so good, which is a shame because it was directed by Andy Serkis.

I thought the first Venom film was actually stupid fun, but Let There Be Carnage was pretty dull.

It sounds like Morbius is also going to be a bit boring, which is sad to hear.

I will be watching the movie when it comes out, but the early buzz isn’t filling me with hope that it’ll be good.
