Moon Knight And Daredevil Confirmed For Avengers: Kang Dynasty?

Moon Knight And Daredevil Might Have Been Confirmed For Avengers Kang Dynasty

Ant-Man 3 scribe Jeff Loveness talks about how Moon Knight And Daredevil might be able to take on Kang in Avengers Kang Dynasty. Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania.

Coming after a rather sad time of his life following the premiere of the latest MCU movie, Loveness found relief in seeing people enjoy the film in the theatres. The Rick and Morty writer took on the tall order of adapting the quantum realm from the comics to the big screen. Together with that is bringing Kang the Conqueror to life, as portrayed by Jonathan Majors.

Despite the critics’ score as reflected on Rotten Tomatoes being 47% only on the Tomatometer, the movie boasts an 83% audience score which confuses fans who have yet to see the film. Ant-Man 3 had a lot of preparation for the story to make. They need a link for Kang to come into the main universe or at least get just one Avenger to face him.

In this case, it is Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man. After this, Loveness is taking on the next step of writing Avengers Kang Dynasty.

In Polygon’s interview with the writer, he disclosed the Kang he has in mind for the movie and what the impact of his character on the MCU’s Universe 616 will be. Just as the film shows a person meeting multiple versions of himself, there is the possibility, as teased by the end scene in Ant-Man 3, that multiple versions of Kangs are waiting to attack the world.

The writer commented:

I wish Hawkeye a lot of luck. I’m sure Daredevil and Moon Knight are gonna be great against those guys.

This seems to be teasing that all three heroes could be turning up in Avengers: Kang Dynasty. As the upcoming movie is still in about two years’ time, he may just be finalizing the lineup of Avengers for the ‘big battle’ with The Conqueror.

Loveness focuses his writing on how formidable a foe Kang is for the Avengers. Ant-Man 3 set up the villain, and the movie’s heroes ended up defeating one Kang, known as “The Exiled”, there is no other being strong enough in the MCU to face all those coming in the future.

Could the movie have also given a glimpse of what is to come for the culmination of the Multiverse Saga? While Hawkeye was already an Avenger, he did retire from that part of his life. Moon Knight and Daredevil are new to the MCU. However, the latter two have acquired some powers and superhuman abilities which can allow them to hold their own against a Kang. Or, at least give them a fighting chance.

There is even the possibility of having a set of Avengers for every version of Kang. And that set of Avengers will get one Moon Knight and one Daredevil too. That would be an overload of Marvel heroes in a single scene.

Personally, I enjoyed Ant-Man 3, and I truly am grateful that I got to see it in the theatre. Indeed, the story and the world it brought to the screen deserve theatrical viewing.

Sure, there may have been scenes that could have been delivered differently, but the movie wasn’t 47% rotten. I agree with the audience score for this movie.

Director Peyton Reed is at the helm for the third Ant-Man movie. Starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly,  Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer, the film still shows in theatres worldwide.
