It’s been revealed that Marvel Studios is taking a very close look at British actor, Henry Cavill. However, we still aren’t sure which role they have in mind for him – if any.

This report comes to us via Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity, and I think it sounds very, very interesting.

Now, according to Mikey, Marvel is “keeping an eye” on the British actor.

Cavill’s future over at DC Films is pretty uncertain at the moment.

It seems as though Warner Bros. Pictures is very keen on ending the SnyderVerse.

Now, I don’t know whether Warner Bros. Pictures is thinking of getting rid of Cavill entirely.

However, I do know that they would like to keep costs down for their upcoming movies, and Cavill doesn’t come cheap.

One of the ways they could bring costs down is by hiring new, lesser-known younger actors to play their superheroes.

Cavill’s been playing Superman since 2013, in Man Of Steel.

However, Cavill’s star has really risen since he first played Superman, and now he’s one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors.

That’s mainly thanks to the huge success of films such as Mission: Impossible – Fallout and The Witcher series on Netflix.

We’re now hearing that Marvel is pretty interested in getting Henry Cavill to jump ship over to the MCU.

As for who he could play in the MCU, the Internet seems to like the idea of him playing Captain Britain.

I’m not so keen on that idea because Captain Britain is the role Kevin Feige himself promised to me.
