Henry Cavill has been playing Superman for quite some time now, and he’s revealed that he’s keen on playing the DC Comics role for years to come.

I’ve said this time and time again – I genuinely believe that Henry Cavill is one of the best versions of Superman we’ve ever seen on the big screen.

I would argue that he’s the second-best Superman ever after Christopher Reeve.

He’s excellent, but he’s been let down by poor movies, poor writing and poor direction.

That said, I would also argue that Man of Steel is one of the very best Superman movies.

Anyway, there’s been a lot of talk surrounding whether Cavill will ever play the role again.

He recently revealed during an interview with Variety that he wants to play Superman for years to come.

Here’s what Henry Cavill revealed when he was asked about his time playing Superman:

I’ve always been a fan of Superman. With a character like that, you carry the mantle with you off set. And it becomes part of your public representation. When you meet children, children don’t necessarily see me as Henry Cavill, but they might see Superman, and there’s a responsibility which comes with that. Because it’s such a wonderful character, it’s actually a responsibility I’m happy to have, and I hope that I get to play more of Superman in years to come.

I’m one of those people who would love to see Cavill play Superman again.
