The afterlife hasn’t been too easy for Lucifer’s brother Amenadiel ever since h came back to Earth to try and get his brother to go back to Hell.

It’s been kind of Hell of Eather of the angel Amenadiel, who’s only ever tried to do the right thing, yet it looks like he’s in for some more hardship in Lucifer Season 5, as a big spoiler was revealed regarding the former fallen angel.

Actor D.B. Woodside revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that his character, Amenadiel, will reluctantly go down to Hell to see his brother Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) on an urgent matter.

“He definitely goes to Hell,” D.B. Woodside told Entertainment Weekly.

“There’s something going on, on Earth that Amenadiel is not able to handle by himself.”

We already know that Amenadiel doesn’t much care for Hell after he was put in charge of it when his brother went to Earth.

So, going back there will be pretty tough for him, but it sounds as if there’ll be a good reason for him to go down there.

Woodside continued, saying: “Knowing that’s the last place our warrior angel would want to be, the stakes must be extremely high.”

He added: “There has to be something very, very bad happening on Earth for Amenadiel to go down to Hell. There has to be an extremely strong, perhaps an otherworldly reason for him to visit Hell.”
