It’s been revealed that actor John Malkovich has been cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) upcoming movie, The Fantastic Four. I love Malkovich, and the fact that he’s joining the MCU is very exciting. However, we still don’t know which role he’s going to be playing in the movie, and I’ve seen a lot of speculation online about which role he’s going to be portraying.

The news that he’s joining the MCU comes from Deadline, and they claim that his role is being kept safely under wraps. So, with the addition of Malkovich, the movie’s cast is as follows: Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (aka the Thing).

It’s also just been announced that British actor Ralph Ineson will be playing Galactus in the film, which is very exciting news indeed. There had been a lot of rumours suggesting that Marvel Studios was trying to persuade Javier Bardem to play the role. However, they ended up going for Ineson, and I think that’s really good casting.

It was also revealed not too long ago that Paul Walter Hauser had been cast in the movie in an undisclosed role. It’s going to be interesting to see who he and Malkovich end up playing in the movie. Speaking of Malkovic’s MCU role, I’ve seen reports that he could be playing the Puppet Master in the movie, which I think would be really good casting.
