Tara Strong has teased her potential return to the Marvel Universe in Ant-Man 3. Her most recent post on Twitter suggests that she could be in the upcoming Ant-Man sequel.

Tara Strong is known for doing a lot of voices. She’s so well known in the industry it’s basically a question of what she hasn’t done. Many know her for her portrayal of Harley Quinn from The New Adventures of Batman, Bubbles from PowerPuff Girls, Timmy Turner of The Fairly Odd Parents. She even portrayed herself, as well as other characters, in Teen Titans Go!

Recently, Strong shared a trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on Twitter, saying:

It’s time y’all

For fans of the MCU, this is a line that Miss Minutes from Marvel’s TV series Loki would say. She’s an animated artificial intelligence that helps the Time Variance Authority. Miss Minutes was created by He Who Remains (a variant of Kang the Conqueror).

While trailers of the latest Ant-Man don’t show any connection to Loki, it does feature Jonathan Majors, who plays both Kang and He Who Remains. Many wonder what the connection would be between Loki and Quantumania. There are those who do feel that this is the first major project that reflects the effects of the Marvel multiverse.

The Ant-Man films were generally standalone films. They don’t rely on any previous movies or projects. Even though they dealt with Hydra and the Avengers, they weren’t the highlight of the films.

Director of the Ant-Man films, Peyton Reed wants the third film to feel like an Avengers film. Reed has said in Empire Magazine (via ComicBook.com):

People felt like, Oh, these are fun little palate cleansers after a gigantic Avengers movie. For this third one, I said, ‘I don’t want to be the palate cleanser anymore. I want to be the big Avengers movie.’

Reed himself is a comic book fan and he’s been wanting to make a comic book film. This was even before 20th Century Fox released Fantastic Four back in 2005. In fact, he worked on a Fantastic Four film before Fox settled with Tim Story’s version. Reed continued:

I grew up a real Marvel comics nerd, and there are a handful of antagonists in the Marvel comics universe who are all-timers. Loki, obviously. Doctor Doom from the Fantastic Four. And Kang the Conqueror. In conversations with Kevin Feige and Marvel, it was like, I want to put Ant-Man and Wasp up against a really formidable villain in this movie, and so we’re doing Kang the Conqueror.

Kang the Conqueror is the big villain in this new saga. The multiverse is a major factor in that.

While we won’t know for sure if Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will have a connection with the Loki tv series. We are sure that this Ant-Man won’t be a standalone film like the previous ones. Ant-Man 3 is the first film for MCU’s Phase 5 projects. And Kang will be affecting the Marvel multiverse.

Even though we don’t know how the film will end, Kang will survive. If Kang dies, a variant with the same goals and motivations can show up. We all know Kang is the centre of attention in MCU’s Phase 6, especially with the film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Will we see Miss Minutes in the upcoming Ant-Man sequel? We don’t know, but it would be interesting to see her character for sure.
