It’s been revealed that Kid Flash (a.k.a. Wally West) will be returning to The Flash once The CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths is finished.
However, one of the things that we think we might know will happen is the return of Kid Flash (played by Keiynan Lonsdale), a.k.a. Wally West, in the upcoming episodes of The Flash.
Kid Flash has been moonlighting on both The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, however, it looks like the character might be making a full return to The Flash in the not-so-distant future.
Now we’ve heard thanks to TV Insider, that Kid Flash could return to The Flash in Season 6 Episode 14, after the ends of both Crisis On Infinite Earths and also perhaps the Bloodwork arcs.
TV Insider also reported that according to showrunner Eric Wallace, Wally has changed a bit since we last saw him.
Kid Flash is coming back to The Flash
After working on his inner life in Tibet, Wally West, aka Kid Flash, is back to help Team Flash against a familiar threat… but one with a very new face!
As always, it’s a real treat having our Flash family member Keiynan Lonsdale back to play the youthful speedster, but what’s different this time [is that] Wally has grown, along with his speedster abilities, too.
Wallace then went on to tease that “this won’t be your same old Kid Flash making a reappearance”. He then added that they have come up with “a fresher, more exciting direction for the character as Wally — just like the rest of Team Flash — deals with a post-Crisis world.”
This sounds very interesting indeed, and I’m looking forward to finding out who this villain could be.
