These Are The Things You’ll Need To Kickstart Your Twitch Career

Twitch-Career-Gaming-Streaming

With us all spending a lot more time at home, now is the perfect time to kickstart your Twitch career and these are the things you’ll need to do that.

Twitch is a platform on which people can live stream themselves playing video games online.

It started off as a rather niche and relative small platform, and it’s now become one of the biggest video sharing online platforms in the world.

It can also be very lucrative for many people. Some individuals have become very wealthy, thanks to Twitch.

Imagine become rich by spending your days playing games like Fortnite, League Of Legends or VALORANT (which was the most popular game to live stream on the platform in May 2020).

It’s an exciting platform to explore if you’re a content creator, gamer or just enjoy talking while playing something fun.

However, to kickstart your Twitch career, you need the right gear.

You need the tech and equipment that will set you apart from the rest, and I’ve been looking into what stuff your Twitch channel will need to help it explode.

So, I’ve separated this into different categories.

First off, we have gaming headset, then gaming keyboards, thirdly we have the best mics, then it’s all about the best mice to use and finally which are the best cameras to go for.

Hopefully, some of these will come in handy and help you to kickstart your Twitch career and become the next Tfue or Shroud.

There are a whole host of gaming headsets that will serve you very well indeed.

However, I’ve highlighted three which I think will just set you apart from the rest.

The EKSA E900s

gaming headset

First off, we have the EKSA E900 which is an excellent gaming headset.

They come with high-quality 50mm neodymium speakers, super-soft protein foam earmuffs and a 2-Year manufacturer’s warranty (which is very useful).

The EKSA E900 also look great, and they can be used for gaming on all platforms.

They also have a great noise-cancelling mic which is perfect for chatting with your mates while playing Fortnite online.

This gaming headset is available to buy for £30/$35.99 direct from the EKSA website or £38.99 on Amazon UK and $43.99 on Amazon.

The E900 Pro is available for £42/$49.99 direct from the EKSA website or £44.99 on Amazon UK and $45.99 on Amazon.

The Trust Gaming GXT 488 Forze

Gaming Headset

The second pair I would recommend is the Trust Gaming GXT 488 Forze Headset for PlayStation®4 (yet you can use them for computer gaming as well).

These are an officially licensed product for PlayStation®4, and they are designed to enhance video games with powerful, immersive sound.

They also have a really stylish design that matches PlayStation®4, the headset is the ideal way to enrich the gaming experience.

They come equipped with 50mm speakers, and deliver ultra-clear dialogue and powerful bass so, whether on a battlefield, racetrack or in a stadium, gamers can be fully immersed into the game.

These would be perfect for your Twitch channel and offer all the style and perfect sound you need to crush your opponents in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The PuroGamer Volume Limiting Gaming Headphones

The third and final gaming headset on this list is the PuroGamer Volume Limiting Gaming Headphones – Available from Amazon for £69.99.

These headphones are all about sound and keeping your ears in good shape.

They are designed specifically for gaming with a slick design, high-quality audio through both sound and an omnidirectional, noise-cancelling microphone.

Thanks to their 7.1 surround sound technology, these headphones allow gamers to immerse themselves into the world of their games and the 50mm graphene driver and response equaliser provides a balanced and safe sound.

Additionally, the headphones have 82% ambient noise isolation at 1kHz to shut the rest of the world out.

Now it’s time for the gaming keyboards, and these are pretty much vital.

If you don’t have the best possible keyboard available, then you might as well call it quits on your Twitch career.

I’ve narrowed my list down to two of the very best gaming keyboards around.

I based these on how they look (you’re going to be on video, so you’ll want a good light show), and performance.

iQunix F96 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

So, let’s start off with the iQunix F96 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard.

If it’s style you’re looking for and great key switches, then this is the keyboard for you.

Have a look at their site, and you’ll be blown away by how good these keyboards look.

They come in a variety of colours – I went from the Coral Sea configuration, which is by far my favourite, yet there are a bunch of others to go for.

They all look great. Then you can choose your key switches.

I went for Cherry Browns, and they feel and sound great while typing and gaming.

Their keyboard can also come with incredible RGB lighting, so you’ll really look the part while gaming on Twitch.

It’s so important to have a good keyboard.

That’s why I’ve recommended this one, even though it’s a tad pricey.

You can buy their F96 keyboard directly from iQunix’s site for $199 (that’s the starting price).

The price will go up if you opt for RGB lighting and wireless (it can come with Bluetooth 4.0).

I recommend you go for both because this keyboard was meant to be wireless and have incredible RGB lighting.\

Trust GXT 830-RW Avonn Gaming Keyboard

If you’re looking for something a bit more affordable but which will still give you everything you need in a gaming keyboard and look great, then the Trust GXT 830-RW Avonn Gaming Keyboard is the keyboard for you.

They are available from Argos RRP £24.99, and they come with a full-size layout, and rainbow wave illumination which makes them look incredible.

The Avonn gaming keyboard will complete your gaming set-up with vivid colours.

The LED lights are adjustable in brightness which makes the GXT 830-RW also perfect for gaming in darker times.

Choose your war colour or draw your enemies into your web with the alluring Rainbow Wave illumination.

The keyboard has a full-size layout, meaning that it is optimally designed for fast key entry.

The GXT 830-RW features anti-ghosting technology to ensure you can game fast and accurately.

You will remain in control even when you press up to 6 keys simultaneously.

They are wired, but that just means no latency, and you won’t have to find new batteries or charge it up all the time.

Find the right mic is so essential when starting your Twitch channel.

Your audience needs to be able to hear you, and you really need to sound good.

This is why mics are vital.

Now, you could use the mics in your gaming headsets, and they would be fine.

But if you want the cleanest audio possible, then I’ve come up with the best mics for you.

Trust Gaming GXT 258 Fyru USB 4-in-1 Streaming Microphone

The sleek Trust Fyru 4-in-1 streaming microphone is a real gem of a microphone. It’s one of the best on the market.

It takes recordings to the next level whether recording a podcast, music track, streaming or gaming.

The multi-purpose mic features excellent audio quality with both voices and instruments which are crystal clear and rich to a near-professional studio-quality while still being amazingly easy to use.

The Fyru allows for recording in 4 different ways, optimised for any situation.

Use cardioid for a clear recording without background noises, e.g. individual recording or bi-directional for a duet or interview.

Stereo is the go-to for a stereo music setting or omnidirectional pattern for a group-podcast.

It couldn’t be more simple to start recording with them.

All you need to do is plug in the USB connection to instantly connect to a PC or laptop.

With a zero-latency headphone monitoring port, recordings can be perfected and listened to in real-time.

Furthermore, settings can also be regulated with convenient microphone gain, mute and headphone volume knobs on the front of the microphone.

The internal pop filter filters out plosives and fricatives to make even smoother recordings.

It’s just an incredible microphone, and you can use it to record you while you play a game on Twitch.

You could then record a podcast about the game you just played with it.

The Trust Gaming GXT 258 Fyru microphone is available from Amazon for RRP £119.99 (bargain).

Blue Yeti USB Mic for Recording and Streaming

The Blue Yeti USB Mic for Recording and Streaming is kind of the gold standard in the world of podcasting.

I use it for my own podcast, and I love it to bits.

It’s just such a simple mic to use, and it looks pretty stylish too.

The sound is incredible, and you’ll never be let down by it.

It’s the perfect mic to help you kickstart your Twitch and podcasting career.

I mean, if almost everyone uses it, then it must be pretty good.\

Blue Microphones are all about recording equipment. It’s the only thing they do, and they know how to do it well.

You can buy a Blue Yeti USB mic on Amazon UK for £119.99, and it comes in loads of different colours.

I went for black personally, but I also love the black and red one.

Hopefully, this list of stuff to buy to kickstart your Twitch career will come in handy.
