Will The Mandalorian Be Able To Use The Force In Season 2?

There are now rumours making their way around the Internet suggesting that The Mandalorian will be able to wield the Force in Season 2. Could it be true?

The Mandalorian Season 2 is easily going to be the biggest thing to be released in 2020.

One of the main reasons why this will be is the Coronavirus pandemic which has delayed basically everything except the Disney Plus Star Wars live-action show.

The second season will still be coming to Disney Plus in October 2020 like originally planned.

Over the past few months – ever since Season 1 ended – we’ve been getting a lot of rather wild fan theories about Season 2 of The Mandalorian.

One of the wildest ones, I believed, was that Pedro Pascal’s character (Mando) will be able to use the Force in Season 2.

When I first ready that fan theory I dismissed it, but I’ve since rewatched the first season of the show.

I that first season, there are a number of hints pointing at Din Djarin being able to sense the Force.

There’s the fact that he knew he had to save this small green creature.

I’m pretty sure that was the Force telling him Baby Yoda needed to be saved and protected.

There’s also the fact that The Mandalorian is very good at getting out of sticky situations, and it’s almost mostly down to plain luck.

It’s either luck or the Force flowing through his veins and around him, helping him get out of dangerous situations relatively unscathed.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the rumours from places like We Got This Covered and Reddit turns out to be true.

People really do believe that Din is at the very least ‘Force-sensitive’.

However, WGTC’s sources claim that he’s actually going to be able to wield the Force in Season 2 of the hit live-action Star Wars show.

He might end up being thought some moves by Baby Yoda or the people whom he or she belongs to.

Just as an aside, I’m pretty sure Baby Yoda is a girl because at one point in the show one of the people who wanted to buy the child referred to it as a ‘she’.

Anyway, I think that Baby Yoda’s role in all of this will become much more apparent in Season 2.

I also think The Mandalorian will end up discovering more about his heritage.

He could end up being the son of a Jedi, or someone linked to the Light Side of the Force.

We know that Din Djarin is not a born Mandalorian.

He was taken in by the creed, which means that he does have a lot of backstory to explore.

Where is he really from? Who were his parents? Why were they killed? Who killed them?

These are all questions that I believe will be answered in the show in time.

Perhaps not immediately in Season 2, yet I do think they’ll be addressed at some point in this new Star Wars series.

Then there’s the question of Boba Fett and Ahsoka Tano’s involvement in Season 2.

Will they be friends or foe? We’re going to have to wait and see to find out.
