Kevin-Feige-Says-There-Will-Be-No-More-Avengers-MCU-Movies

It seems as though there won’t be any new Avengers films after Avengers: Endgame, at least, according to Marvel President, Kevin Feige.

Feige revealed this during a recent episode of Marvel Studios Assembled series on Disney Plus.

The episode was focused on Eternals.

During the episode, Marvel’s President spent some time talking about where the MCU was going from here after the events on Avengers: Endgame.

This was when Feige referred to Endgame as “the final Avengers movie.”

Here’s the full quote from Kevin Feige, in the Eternals episode of Marvel Studios Assembled:

Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now past their tenth anniversary and with the release of the final Avengers movie, we’ve finally completed a 22-movie Infinity Saga.

There won’t be any new Avengers movies says Kevin Feige

That wasn’t all Feige had to say about the future of the MCU.

Here’s what Feige had to say in Assembled about what could happen in the future of the MCU:

Where do we go from there? Where do we start? What we really wanted to do was two things: start fresh with whole new characters, new storylines, but also go back to some of the deepest richest mythology in all of Marvel Comics…

What would you like to see beyond the MCU’s Phase 4?

Do you think another Avengers movie is really needed?

this makes sense. the avengers are not a natural team. its a crisis response unit. we can always have crisis response team movies, they dont need to be “Avengers” movies. the fantastic four, the inhumans, xmen, are all natural teams. justice league is also not a natural team. he is right to focus on natural teamups, new emergency mashups, and new configurations of odd teamups, like “marvel team up” and other books used to do. movies usually need a single hero, or a single villain, a focal point. aha thats why eternals failed!!! the only story arc that worked was Ikarus really. the core avengers gang are done. it was a beautiful moment, but you cant capture it. let it go, as another franchise sings.

Have your say...
