Ryan Reynolds Says Deadpool Isn’t In Doctor Strange 2

Deadpool To Be In Doctor Strange 2 Thanks To Spider-Man

Is Deadpool going to be in Doctor Strange 2 (Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness)? Well, Reynolds says he isn’t.

This comes after many fans claimed that they could see Deadpool in the movie’s poster.

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about that, because personally I just couldn’t see Deadpool in the poster.

It was pointed out that one of the bits of broken glass in the poster had the Marvel character hidden in it.

It was a bit of a stretch, but who knows, maybe it was Marvel Studios teasing Deadpool’s upcoming MCU cameo.

Anyway, here’s what Ryan Reynolds had to say to Variety about a possible cameo in Doctor Strange 2:

I’m really not in the movie. I’m promising, I’m not in the movie.

It looks like Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool won’t be in Doctor Strange 2

However, Reynolds did give an update on Deadpool 3, stating, “It’s coming along.”

As far as Deadpool 3’s concerned, it seems as though Marvel Studios does have an idea of when the movie will be released.

During an interview on ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that they do have a release window for Deadpool 3.

He then went on to say that, “The script is in the works and Ryan is working very hard on it with our writers as we speak.”

Reynolds then told Collider that they are working on a script for Deadpool 3:

It’s something that is just a daily process. Writing is kind of like that, you’ve gotta allot time to do it and walk away, and I’m working with the Molyneuxs on it, it’s been great. They’re incredibly talented and so, so smart. They so understand that world and know how to zig when everyone’s expecting a zag, so it’s been a lot of fun.
