Kevin Feige Admits Characters From The Netflix Marvel Shows Could Return In The MCU

Kevin Feige has admitted that certain characters from the Netflix Marvel shows could end up making a comeback in the MCU, which would be a nice way to honour both the shows and the fans.

This came directly from the mouth of Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige.

He revealed this during Disney Plus’ virtual TCA press tour and it’s a pretty big deal that he even acknowledged those Netflix Marvel shows.

Fans have been desperate to see the likes of Daredevil, The Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist become part of the MCU, and it sounds like there’s hope at the end of the very long tunnel.

We’ve already heard that Charlie Cox is going to be returning as Matt Murdock in the MCU.

We were also told that Fiege is very keen on bringing Jon Bernthal, Mike Colter and Krysten Ritter back as their respective Marvel characters.

However, it’s not such good news for Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist in the Marvel Netflix shows, as it looks like his return isn’t in the cards.

Here’s what Kevin Feige said when he was asked about the Marvel Netflix characters possibly joining the MCU at some point in the future:

I think we probably could do it, I think a lot of that stuff comes back to us. There’s always rumours online about things reverting, sometimes that’s true, sometimes it’s not, but I’m not exactly sure of the exact contracts but perhaps someday.

So, that does seem as though Feige’s been thinking of ways he can bring them all back to the MCU.

They’re all pretty important Marvel characters in the comics, so it would make sense for them to be brought into the MCU.
