Keanu Reeves Reveals The Marvel Role He Always Wanted To Play

Keanu Reeves has finally revealed which was the Marvel role he always wanted to play, yet admits that he’s too old for it now.

There have been so many column inches dedicated to trying to figure out which character Keanu Reeves will play in the MCU.

We still don’t even know whether he’ll ever join the MCU.

What we do know is that he’s spoken to Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige on multiple occasions about possible roles.

However, they’ve just never found the right role for him.

There have been rumours that he might be cast as either Moon Knight or Ghost Rider.

I like him for both those roles, however, Reeves recently admitted that the Marvel role he always wanted to play was Wolverine.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM ahead of the release of Bill and Ted Face the Music both Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves were asked about roles they wish they could have played.

This was when Keanu revealed he would have loved to have played Wolverine.

Keanu Reeves: For me, I always wanted to play Wolverine.

Alex Winter: It’s not too late!

Keanu Reeves: It is too late. It was filled really well. I’m all good with it now.

It might be too late for Keanu to play Wolverine (which is a shame), yet there are plenty of other great Marvel characters for him to choose from.
