Jessica Jones’ Return To The MCU Being Discussed At Marvel Studios

Jessica Jones Krysten Ritter MCU Marvel

It’s been revealed that Jessica Jones’ return to the MCU is currently being discussed over at Marvel Studios, which shouldn’t really come as much of a surprise.

This report comes to us from the good folks at Geekosity.

This comes after it was revealed by Marvel’s very own President, Mr. Kevin Feige, that they do not consider the Marvel Netflix shows as failures.

He also kind of teased the return of shows like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. even.

However, I highly doubt they’ll be coming back the way they were before

Here’s what Mikey Sutton had to say about Jessica Jones being discussed for an MCU return via Hulu:

What I’m hearing now is that the Jessica Jones revival is possibly the first MCU program on Hulu.

He then went on to explain how Disney now has 67% ownership of the streaming platform and they’re intending to put their more mature MCU content on there.

Sutton actually explained how by 2024, Disney will have Comcast’s 33% stake in the streaming service.

They then intend to make the platform part of Disney Plus, and that’s where we’ll see some of the more mature MCU content.

Shows such as Daredevil, The Punisher and Jessica Jones will make their way onto the platform via Hulu by 2024, and then they can also drop their more ‘adult’ Marvel shows and movies on there too.

This is a bit different outside of the United States because Hulu doesn’t exist there, and they can drop things on Star, which is a new section of the Disney Plus app where Disney is putting more grown-up content.
