John Carpenter Reveals He Loves The New Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Video Game

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla John Carpenter

John Carpenter, the legendary filmmaker, has taken to Twitter to praise the brand new Assassin’s Creed video game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This also suggests as though he might be the proud owner of PlayStation 5 (although, the game is also available on PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S).

That’s not an easy thing to get your hands on, so we should all be pretty impressed with Carpenter. He did reveal a while back that he was a bit of a gamer. However, it seems as though he’s a tad more than just “a bit of a gamer”. He’s a full-on hardcore console gamer, which is fun.

Carpenter, on a personal note, is one of my all-time favourite directors. He made one of my favourite movies ever in The Thing (the 1982 version, not the 1951 nor the 2011 movies).  I also love the likes of The Fog, Escape From New York, Assault On Precinct 13, and of course, Halloween.

John Carpenter is a fan of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Here’s what John Carpenter had to say about the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla video game:

ASSASSIN’S CREED VALHALLA is a return to excellence in the franchise. Massive open world, beautifully designed, with great gameplay. Incredible game.

So, it sounds to me as though John Carpenter is really enjoying his time with the game. I would also say that this is the only review you really need. If John Carpenter approves, then we should all play the game right now!
