Jodie Whittaker’s Agent Reportedly Wants Her To Quit Doctor Who

It’s being suggested by a new rumour online that Jodie Whittaker’s agent wants the actor to quit the BBC’s Doctor Who show after Season 13. This rumour comes from YouTuber Tzvi Lebetkin, so maybe take it with a pinch of salt.

However, I will dig into why it would be a good idea for Jodie Whittaker to leave the show. The main reason is that Jodie Whittaker is just too good for Doctor Who in its current state.

Until BBC opts to get a new showrunner, I do not think future seasons of Doctor Who will be any better than what Season 12 was. Season 12, as far as I’m concerned was pretty poor. It had nothing to do with Whittaker’s performance. She is a very good Doctor in a very poorly written and thought out show.

Here’s what YouTuber Tzvi Lebetkin had to say about Jodie Whittaker’s agent wanting her to leave Doctor Who:

Jodie Whittaker’s agent has been screaming at Jodie Whittaker. She’s got to get off the show. She’s got to get off the show because [her] agent business is looking at the reality, not the fantasy. And the reality is the ratings have been on a nosedive. It’s been an incredibly successful show, an incredibly successful international juggernaut, which is coming off one of the most successful periods ever. And now it’s now gone to one of its least successful periods ever and she is the public face of that.
