Jigsaw’s History Explained In CZsWorld’s New Video

History-of-Jigsaw-Saw-Movies

I want to play a game. A game in which you go over to YouTube and watch CZsWorld’s latest video which is on the history of Jigsaw.

Are you a fan of the Saw movies? Well, I am. I’ve watched all of them, and I think they are actually pretty interesting.

OK, they’re pretty disgusting. However, the character of Jigsaw is really interesting.

Played by Tobin Bell, Jigsaw – aka John Kramer – is a twisted individual, however, there is method to his madness.

Kramer is a man who locks people up in rooms and buildings. He then sets traps – or ‘tests’ – for them.

This is when all the bloody and horrific gore starts. However, there is a lot more to him than just being a murdering psychopath.

CZsWorld’s video explains all of this. Zac Morris – the man behind CZsWorld goes into incredible detail on how John Kramer ended up becoming Jigsaw.

Now, again, this video isn’t for the faint of heart. This video is very much aimed at people who have a love of the horror genre.

However, I would argue that the Saw movies started a whole new genre of their own: the gore/horror genre.

It’s one that was pretty relevant during the 2000s and 2010s.

The first saw movie was released in 2003, and it was actually the vehicle that kickstarted the likes of James Wan and Leigh Whannell’s careers.

They would then go on to become pretty huge directors in their own right.

Wan went on to make the likes of The Conjuring movies and Aquaman.

Leigh Whannel went on to make the incredible Upgrade and then released The Invisible Man.

In the first Saw movie, they created two things: a new subgenre in the horror genre, and a new iconic horror character in Jigsaw.

They also came up with the idea of that really creepy puppet on a tricycle, which I would argue is also now one of the most recognizable puppets in horror history.

Right, back to CZsWorld’s video. If you haven’t heard of the channel, then what on Earth have you been doing?

He now has over 639K subscribers as of writing this article.

He’s easily one of the biggest horror-centric YouTubers on the platform and he’s only getting bigger.

His videos are incredibly detailed, really well researched, edited and they are all written and presented by Zac Morris.

I would call his videos mini-documentaries, yet they’re actually now becoming basically feature-length documentaries.

His Saw: The Complete History Of Jigsaw video is over one hour and eleven minutes long.

This is kind of unique in the YouTube sphere and I think he’s showing us all that it’s something that viewers want more of.

He’s released this new YouTube doc on the Saw franchise right in time for the release of the new movie in the franchise.

That movie is called Spiral: From The Book Of Saw and it stars Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson.
