James Gunn Teasing More DC Projects After Peacemaker?

It seems as though James Gunn has teased more DC Comics projects after The Suicide Squad the spinoff Peacemaker TV show.

He teased that he might be making more DC Comics properties after Peacemaker via Twitter.

Gunn was asked whether he was planning on developing more projects with DC Films after The Suicide Squad.

He then responded to the tweet saying that he’s already halfway through shooting a TV show (Peacemaker) so there is more on the horizon.

That makes it pretty clear, to me at least, that Gunn is certain of working with DC Films again.

This could be a Peacemaker Season 2 or even a The Suicide Squad 2.

Both would be very interesting and I really do believe that DC Films is in desperate need of someone like James Gunn.

He will be going back to Marvel Studios after finishing with Peacemaker Season 1.

He’ll be making Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, which sounds like it could be his last Marvel project.

However, that’s not confirmed as of yet.

Here’s what James Gunn was asked specifically:

Are you planning to develop future projects with DC or is “The Suicide Squad” kind of a one-and-done thing?

Gunn then replied, saying:

I’m already more than halfway through shooting a season of a TV show’s first season. So there is definitely more on the horizon.
