What’s going on with WandaVision Season 2: is it happening or not? Will Marvel Studios make a second season of the hit Disney Plus series?

Well, if you’re asking yourself that question, then you’ve come to the right place.

WandaVision was a pretty big success and before I get into anything, let me tell you right now that it was always intended to be a one-and-done sort of show.

People call a show like this a ‘limited series’.

OK, so does that mean that WandaVision Season 2 is definitely not happening then? Well, no.

There have been a bunch of shows in the past that were intended to be limited series but then ended up getting second seasons.

The main reason why this happens is popularity.

People end up really loving these shows and demand for another season.

WandaVision’s first season was pretty popular, but it was also pretty divisive.

Not everyone loved it and there were a lot of people who were upset that Mephisto never made an appearance.

Then there was the fact that some of the actors on the show – Paul Bettany, I’m looking at you – was going to feature a huge cameo.

Well, it didn’t. There was an appearance from Evan Peters as Quicksilver (aka Ralph Boner).

However, that ended up being a very disappointing cameo in reality.

That said, there has been demand from the fans for more WandaVision.

Well, I say “more WandaVision“. What I really mean is that the fans want to see more of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch.

It does seem as though her story is going to continue to be told via the main MCU.

She’s going to be part of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, and it seems like she’s going to play a pretty important role in that film.

However, that hasn’t stopped Elizabeth Olsen and Kevin Feige from talking about WandaVision Season 2.

Let’s start off with what Kevin Feige himself has said about whether they would make a WandaVision Season 2.

During a recent interview at the Television Critics’ Association press tour, Feige was asked whether it would happen, and he revealed that he “hoped” it would.

However, he did seem very unwilling to commit to saying whether it would happen or not.

He didn’t want to rule out the possibility of it happening, but he also didn’t want to confirm that it wouldn’t.

He also went on to add:

I’ve been at Marvel too long to say a definite yes or a definite no to anything.

So, it seems as though it’s not a NO as far as WandaVision Season 2 is concerned.

However, at the moment, they’re focusing more on Wanda’s story in the main MCU movies.

But, what about Elizabeth Olsen? Has she opened up about a potential WandaVision Season 2?

Well, she kind of did during a recent episode of Variety’s Actors On Actors series.

She was talking to Kaley Cuoco and it was a really interesting discussion.

During their talk, they spoke about a WandaVision Season 2, and this was when Olsen revealed that the series was always meant to be a “limited series”.

So, this means that it was always intended to be a “one-and-done” sort of thing.

However, she did add that Marvel Studios could always decide to do another season of the show.

Yet, as far as she knows, this will be the only season of the show.

Here’s what Elizabeth Olsen had to say about WandaVision Season 2:

No. Yeah, it’s definitely a limited series.

However, Olsen did give us some hope when she added: “I mean, I’m saying that. I don’t know… With Marvel, you can never say no. Like, people die… I don’t know, I would be shocked.”

So, let’s just be happy in the knowledge that Wanda Maximoff’s story is going to be told in the MCU.

At the moment, it seems like WandaVision Season 2 isn’t on the cards, but never say never.
