Let’s no beat about the bush here. Iron Fist on Netflix was utter trash. It was easily the worst of Netflix’s Marvel TV shows, and a lot of it was down to the poor action, and Finn Jones’ rather lacklustre acting in the series.
There has been a lot of news recently about Marvel Studios wanting to bring back some of the actors from these Marvel Netflix shows (Jon Bernthal as The Punisher and Charlie Cox as Daredevil), which makes sense.
Yet, there was one name notoriously absent from these reports: Finn Jones as Iron Fist.
Why is that, you ask? It’s because Finn Jones was terribly miscast. He just isn’t right for Iron Fist and didn’t really put the work in.
However, all the blame cannot be put on his shoulders. There were a whole host of reasons why the series didn’t work ranging from poor writing to even worse direction.
We’re now hearing reports from We Got This Covered that Marvel Studios and Disney are looking to reboot the Iron Fist franchise and completely recast the show.

This means that Finn Jones will not be returning as the Marvel Comics superhero.
Personally, I always thought that Dan Stevens would make a much better Iron Fist, and now that his own Marvel TV show, Legend, is in a state of flux, they could very well cast him in this upcoming Iron Fist reboot on Disney Plus.
It would be a good idea because he could then be brought into the MCU and I think that Stevens would easily hold his own against the likes of Brie Larson, Tom Holland, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt and Benedict Cumberbatch to name but a few.
I do hope this rumour turns out to be true, but you always have to remain cautious with We Got This Covered’s reports, yet this one really does make sense to me.
Marvel knows that people like the Iron Fist character and they know that they could do him justice on both the small and big screen.
They just have to cast the right person and get the perfect directors and writers on-board.

Fin jones was really a good actor. And he did played a wonderful role in the series its just because of people like you that series wasnt much popular. Whole cast was great. Loved them all
NO , dont recast the series , it was fantastic . pls bring back season 3 , dont recast the characters, especially jones and henwick , they served a good purpose on iron fist .
Please bring back Iron Fist with the original cast! My family loved this show and we are all so disappointed that it didn’t come back for Season 3!
