Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Won’t Be Delayed

James Gunn – director and writer of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 – has revealed that his movie will not be delayed like the other MCU films have been.

Gunn revealed this news in a recent tweet after he was asked by a bunch of fans online about the movie.

It was revealed yesterday that Marvel Studios and Disney had opted to delay some of their upcoming movies.

The likes of Doctor Strange 2, Thor 4, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantomania and Indiana Jones 5 were all delayed.

In the case of Indy 5, the movie was delayed by a year.

The other films only were delayed by a few months.

There wasn’t really an explanation offered as to why Disney and Marvel decided to do this.

I’m pretty sure it’s a combination of COVID-19 and the upcoming strike which is really going to cripple Hollywood.

Here’s what James Gunn had to say about his upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 movie:

Nope. #GotGVol3 is neither pulled nor delayed, still scheduled for May 5, 2023. We are scripted & storyboarded, crewed & casted, & READY TO GO in just a little bit here. We’re going to build you guys something beautiful.

So, it seems as though it’s full steam ahead as far as Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’s concerned.

Given the movie isn’t scheduled for release until 2023, maybe they’ve got some breathing room time-wise.

Hopefully, Disney and Marvel will be able to sort everything out before the movie is scheduled to hit movie theatres the world over.
