Fans Voice Their Support For David Ayer’s Suicide Squad Cut

Fans have been coming out in their droves to support David Ayer and the release of his cut of Suicide Squad, and it’s just lovely to see.

So, @CutAyer reached out to me and asked whether I would be up for participating in something pretty interesting.

The idea was to celebrate David Ayer and the 5th anniversary of the release of Suicide Squad.

Now, we know that the movie that came out wasn’t Ayer’s movie, and part of the idea was to highlight that and also support the release of the Ayer Cut.

So, @CutAyer tweeted out a message which reads as follows (and you can see the tweet for yourselves below):

To celebrate @DavidAyerMovies 5th anniversary since the release of Suicide Squad @SmallScreenCo will be doing a #ReleaseTheAyerCut article on August 5th! Leave a kind message for David down below in the comments and you might see your message in the article when it drops!!!

Now, I know I’m a bit late, and I’m sorry about that, but you know what they say, “better late than never”.

So, the reactions to this tweet were amazing and I wanted to highlight a few of them.

You can have a read of some of them below.

Now, this is just a small drop in the ocean of support for David Ayer and his vision.

So many people wrote lovely stuff in support of Ayer and his cut of the movie.

There was just too much to put into this one article.

What I would like to say is that every filmmaker should get to release the film they were hired to make.

Every filmmaker should get the release the film they intended to make.

That’s what cinema is all about, and what happened to David Ayer on Suicide Squad was shameful.

I’ll end the article with this: Warner Bros. Pictures needs to listen to the fans and to David Ayer.

They also need to listen to their own movie stars such as John Cena who recently voiced his support for the release of the Ayer cut.

What do you make of this news?
