The second trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage has hit the inter-web, and it’s fair to say that it has got fans rather excited.

Despite getting mauled by critics, 2018’s Venom was a massive hit with audiences, and a huge box office success raking in $856m globally.

As reported by ComicBook.com, the new trailer to the sequel has given fans an extended look at the film’s villain Carnage, played by Woody Harrelson.

The trailer teases Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and his ongoing battles to keep the Venom symbiote under control.

Meanwhile, it features an extensive look at Cletus Kasady, and ultimately his transformation into the eponymous villain Carnage.

For many fans, it’s the design of Carnage that is causing excitement levels to reach a fever pitch.

For me, while it’s fair to say I was not a fan of the first film, the look of Carnage does look pretty badass.

Furthermore, given director Andy Serkis’s extensive experience with motion capture, hopefully, he’s able to harness that to good effect for this sequel.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage arrives in cinemas on the 15th September in the UK and 24th September in the US.
