Doctor Strange 2 Rumoured To Introduce Miss America Into The MCU

Now, this would be very interesting indeed. There are now rumours that Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness (Doctor Strange 2) will introduce America Chavez, a.k.a. Miss America, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

First off, I’m pretty sure that they won’t go with the name Miss America due to all the issues they’d have with President Trump if they were to go down that road.

Secondly, I think this would be brilliant because America Chavez is a brilliant, interesting and fun character who loves to punch people, and punch them hard!

This rumour comes from the site, The Illuminerdi, so I’m not totally sure how accurate it is, but I’ve seen a lot of people claim this could really happen and that Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige is keen on bringing the character into the MCU.

Doctor Strange 2 is in a bit of a bother after having lost its director and writer in Scott Derrickson who left the project due to creative differences.

However, it still seems as though they are moving full steam ahead with the picture, which is said to be a more horror-inspired film than the first one, which I like the sound of.

Anyway, back to America Chavez. According to The Illuminerdi, America will be introduced in Doctor Strange 2 and will open up the MCU to the Multiverse.

She was as created in 2011 by Jow Casey and Nick Dragotta as a new incarnation of the Miss America character.

In the comics, her character was raised in the Utopian Parallel, an idyllic dimension that was disconnected from other realities, by her two mothers.

When she was a child, her mothers were forced to sacrifice their lives to stop a pair of black holes from destroying the dimension they lived in.

Whilst growing up in this alternate universe, America was able to hone her skills and powers which she received thanks to her proximity to magical forces.

Her powers include the likes of flight, superhuman strength and speed.

She’s basically indestructible and one of her most interesting powers is the ability to create star portals.

This allows her to open star-shaped portals to travel across space, time, and the multiverse.

There are a lot of reasons why bringing her into Doctor Strange 2 would make sense.

She’s a magical character. She has experience with the Multiverse and she would be the MCU’s first openly gay character, which I know Feige is keen on bringing into the comic book movie franchise.
