It’s being rumoured that Marvel Studios is very keen on getting Charlie Cox to return to the role of Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

One of the biggest issues with the fact that Marvel is making all their upcoming TV shows for Disney Plus is that we won’t be seeing the Netflix shows continue.

They were all cancelled one after the other, and that means we won’t get to see the likes of Charlie Cox play Daredevil and Jon Bernthal play The Punisher.

Those shows had their problems, but they were all really well cast.

Cox and Bernthal were particular highlights, and it sounds like they would relish the opportunity to play their Marvel characters in the MCU.

Bounding Into Comics’ sources have now revealed that Marvel Studios is thinking of a way to get Charlie Cox to play Daredevil in the MCU.

They claim Cox and Bernthal could return to their roles on a future Disney Plus series.

According to the outlet, this series will be a Punisher series, and could even see the likes of Krysten Ritter return as Jessica Jones.

If they go ahead with this revamped version of the Netflix Marvel shows, then it would make them officially part of the MCU.

This could then allow them to turn up in the movies.

Honestly, I think this is something Marvel Studios should do.

They are truly great actors and they all love their Marvel characters.

The MCU is in need of something like them – something more grounded and a bit more ‘rough and ready’.
