Benedict Cumberbatch Apologizes For Disappointing WandaVision Fans

Benedict Cumberbatch has apologized to WandaVision fans for supposedly disappointing them because he didn’t turn up in the show.

OK, that was a difficult sentence to write.

A lot of people were convinced that Benedict Cumberbatch was going to turn up in the first Marvel Studios Disney Plus series, WandaVision, as Doctor Strange.

Well, we all watched the show (I hope) and he didn’t turn up.

I think part of the reason why people were so convinced he was going to turn up was because of the show’s actors teasing cameos.

Paul Bettany was probably the most at fault here.

He claimed that he got to act with an actor he’s wanted to work with his entire career and that there were fireworks between the two of them on set.

Well. turned out he was talking about himself, and people were pissed.

Here’s what Benedict Cumberbatch had to say in a recent interview with Jakes Takes which is on YouTube:

I’m sorry to disappoint you. That would have been fun I guess; it would have led into Lizzie’s involvement with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but ah hell, that’s all to come. We’re in the middle of it now; we’ve been filming since before Christmas and it’s very exciting.
