Batgirl Film Will Feature ‘The Real Batman’ Say Directors

It’s been revealed by the directors of the upcoming Batgirl movie – Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah – that it’ll feature “the real Batman”. But, which Batman do they mean by that?

They revealed this during an interview with VRTNWS, and it’s a pretty interesting way to refer to Batman.

Who could be the real Batman be? There are a whole load of possibilities.

Could they be referring to Michael Keaton – the OG Batman in film?

That’s a pretty strong possibility, well, to me at least.

Or, given their age, could Christian Bale be their real Batman.

Something tells me that Bale wouldn’t return to the role for a Batgirl film.

The only thing that would get Bale to return to the franchise would be if Christopher Nolan was directing.

Or, could Arbi and Fallah be huge fans of the SnyderVerse and want to bring back Ben Affleck’s Batman?

That could also be possible.

Which Batman could be turning up in the Batgirl movie?

I mean, they could also be saying that the ‘real Batman’ is Robert Pattinson.

Then, there’s the not so likely scenario that they’re either referring to George Clooney or Val Kilmer.

I’m pretty sure that’s not the case however.

What actually happened during the interview is that they were asked whether Batman would be part of the project.

They then said that it was “the real one”.

Another possibility that just popped into my head is that what they are saying here is that Batgirl is the real Batman…

I mean, that’s a stretch, but it’s still a possibility.

Honestly, I’m pretty certain that it’s Michael Keaton they’re talking about.

He recently filmed scenes for the upcoming Flash movie and he seemed pretty up on the whole thing.

I think he might like the idea of popping up here and there in different Batman-related projects.

I think it would only ever be as a cameo at this point.

This Batgirl film will be going straight to HBO Max and it will star Leslie Grace as Batgirl (aka Barbara Gordon).
