It’s been a whole ‘will they won’t they be in Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ thing when it comes to whether Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will be in the movie.
Tom Holland recently stated that there will be “three generations [of Spider-Man movies] coming together” in No Way Home.
Now, he said this during an interview with Total Film, and since then, Andrew Garfield was asked to comment on whether he’s going to be in the movie or not.
At first, he was shocked that Tom Holland would say such a thing in an interview.
Garfield was then asked by Extra TV’s reporter whether he will be in the movie.
She asked him to blink if he’s in the movie or shake his head if he’s not.
Garfield then got very flustered and went on a whole tangent about how he loves what Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have been doing with these new Spider-Man movies.
Andrew Garfield opens up on Spider-Man: No Way Home rumours
You can check out what he had to say in the video below:
However, what I find very interesting here is that he didn’t say that he wasn’t in the movie.
He clearly knows what they’ve been doing with these movies.
He mentioned the films’ director, Jon Watts and their producers Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige.
He seems to be a huge fan of these new Spider-Man films, and I think he shows enough interest in the new movies that he would of course agree to be in them.
Here’s what he had to say on the new Spider-Man movies:
I really love what that whole team have done with the character. Like, I really love what Jon Watts has done, what Tom has done, what Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige have done with this incarnation of the character, and they have given it so much soul and so much fun and joy and it is so true to the character.
Andrew then added:
I will say this: I’m very excited to see what they’ve done with their third instalment. I blinked a little bit, but it was totally accidental. I take no ownership over it!
