Amber Heard’s Upcoming Book Sets Off A Bidding War

Amber-Heard’s-Upcoming-Book-Sets-Off-A-Bidding-War

It’s been reported that Amber Heard’s upcoming book has started a bidding war, which I’m not at all surprised by.

This all comes after Amber Heard ended up losing Johnny Depp’s defamation trial.

The actress was ordered to pay Depp over $10 million in total.

However, Amber then revealed that she’s going to be writing a ‘tell-all’ memoir and it sounds as though publishers are very interested in it.

According to RADAR Online, the book could be worth $15 million to Heard.

That would be a very good thing for Heard since it could help her to pay the damages she owes Johnny.

I will say that the defamation trial was good for Johnny Depp, however, it might be a very bad thing in the long run.

Thanks to how the trial worked out, Marilyn Manson is preparing a similar suit against ex-partner Evan Rachel Wood for “malicious falsehoods” of abuse accusations.

Many people have criticised the defamation trial because they argue that it’s put forward a precedent in which abuse victims will be consistently questioned about their claims.

This will allow abusers to take their victims to court and use the Depp vs Heard trial as precedent, which is not a good thing.

As for Amber Heard’s book, I’m sure it’ll end up being very controversial, but also probably very lucrative for Heard.
