This was revealed by Zack Snyder in a new interview with The Film Junkee. He opened up about how the DCEU’s Robin backstory will be explored in his movie. He seemed to be hinting that we might get to see what happened between Robin and maybe Jared Leto’s Joker.

“There’s a Robin Easter egg in Justice League,” Snyder said during the interview. However, he didn’t say what that Easter egg would be. He went on to reveal that he did have some plans for Robin in future DCEU movies.
