It’s being reported by Beyond The Trailer’s Grace Randolph that Thor: Love And Thunder will also include Rocket Racoon and Groot. This does make sense given the fact that it’s just been announced that Chris Pratt’s Star Lord will be in the movie.
So, it seems like Taikia Waititi’s Thor: Love And Thunder is going to be a bit of a crossover movie with the Guardians of the Galaxy. This does make sense given the way Avengers: Endgame ended. The end of that movie says Thor leave with the Guardians.
It seems like Thor: Love And Thunder will feature a few of the Guardians, and Grace Randolph is claiming that two of those characters will be Rocket Racoon and Groot. This was kind of teased by Vin Diesel himself back when he was promoting Bloodshot.

Anyway, Grace Randolph had this to say about the upcoming Thor: Love And Thunder movie, which will reportedly feature Groot and Racoon:

But he, #RocketRaccoon & #Groot have legit roles!
makes sense – Thor did go off w/ them at the end of #AvengersEndgame
plus w/ GotG3 delayed, keeps them in the loop!
So, it sounds like Rocket Racoon and Groot won’t just have cameo roles. What I’m reading in Randolph’s tweet is that they will play key roles in the movie.
